<p>I bought a Dell curved monitor from Matrix East Rand Mall on the 26 of April. When I got home and plugged it in to my computer I noticed it was cracked and had ink marks on it. I took it the following day as they had already closed. the people at the store told me that they would take it to their supplier for repairs. they would not even inform me as to what is happening, I was the one who used to call them to ask about progress. A few weeks later they call me to say the supplier claims that it is physical damage and the warranty is void. It is not economical for the supplier to repair the monitor and there is nothing Matrix can do about it. So now I am stuck with a monitor that does not work, of which I’ve never used, but must repair myself. What frustrates me the most is the poor customer service and bad attitude from the store manager as well as the stuff. She claims that all the products they receive from their suppliers are 100% functional and it my fault that the monitor is not working. What boggles me is how can a customer intentionally damage something they have bought knowing very well there are no refunds for it, according to Matrix policies. I even went as far as calling their head office, a guy by the name of Dion said he would investigate the matter but did not bother to return my call. I simply cannot understand why Matrix has policies that ******* the customer. It seems okay for Matrix and their stuff to not want to take responsibility and blame everything on the customer. My advice to anyone out there, never ever buy anything from Matrix, it's a joke of a store</p> <p> </p>
