Refuse to sell a product as per the specified price

I went onto a website called Matrix Warehouse, they are well established and reputable. I saw an add for a Pre-Build (new) Desktop PC (with Intel core i7+ 1TB HDD + 4GB DDR4 ram + ATX Case + H110 Motherboard+ DVD Writer) at R3999.00.

When I called to place an order, the lady by the name of Stephanie told me I cannot purchase it at that price but I may purchase it at R8999.00 (something of that sort) because it has been incorrectly advertised. She then gave me her managers number (Dion ********** 578) but he never took my calls. A little while later I logged back onto the site and they had change the advert to suit their price. I called her back and she told me that her CEO will not allow me to take it at R3999.00.

I am really frustrated at this as I am not at fault for listing the price. If I walk into another store and saw something marked at and x amount, I have all rights to purchase it at that amount. I am really ****** damn ****ed of.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused. The online pricing is exclusive for the online store. If you placed the order on line at the time and paid for it on line, we would have delivered no questions asked. Pricing in store sometimes are not the same and the stores cannot offer the same discounts / deals as the online store.

Yes I understand that part. I called in the head office to make certain that if I made payment that I would recieve the goods. What would have happened if I paid R4000 into the account and they send me the incorrect goods? I say that because straight after my call You guys changed the price on the website. So now what do I do???? I still want it at that price. Please stop finding excuses not to give the customer the goods that you guys priced it as !

I was told that I will not be recieving thag specific product even if I paid the price as advertised. Please contact me and speak to me directly to sort this matter out.

I think you are missing the point totally!!! I wanted it on that day as soon as I saw the advert. I called to check if stock was available and if I could pick it up from a store. The lady told me that I CANNOT purchase it. Which part of that dont yourll understand? I was prepared to pay for it then and there but I was told that if I did pay then I wont recieve that specific product. Is that hard to understand? I saw and ad and I wanted the product but you guys told me I cant have it even if I paid the money at the time. Really poor service and looking for excuses not to give the customer their goods because you guys have messed up.

Do you not think that this unfair to me as a customer? I was prepared to pay the price but I called in to check if there was stock and then you guys tell me that I cant purchase it!!! and suddenly after that, the website changed the advert?????? I am not letting this go of easily. I want my product for that price and I don't care as how or what you do to make it happen!!
