No customer service!!!

I bought a mouse from the store at the Kollenade Retail Park in March of 2020. We noticed the last few days that the mouse does not work as it should and I just took it back to them. I was referred to the Store Manager (Hennie Nienaber) for assistance. I explained the issue with mouse. He then said that they would need to send it it to be fixed. That would take 21 working days. I understand that they do not carry the guarantee and agreed for the mouse to be sent in. I then asked for a loan unit for the time that I do not have the mouse. One similar to the one that I brought in. Hennie advised that they do not have any to loan me. So I asked for his manager. He then called his "Manager", Myron, to discuss the issue. Firstly. Myron cannot speak to customers as he does not respect the fact that I am a customer. I spent the money at their store to buy something that I need. The more I tell him that I do not want a new mouse, but just a loan unit. The more he tells me he cannot give me a new unit. Byron. You need to work on your customer s****s boetie. Without customers, you do not have a business. I find it difficult to believe that you do not have a loan unit to give me. Surely this is not the first time that a mouse has been returned. How can you not anticipate this issue and have a proper process in place to service your customers. Customer satisfaction is NOT high on your agenda. It leaves a bitter taste in my mouth that one has to deal with people like Myron. I find it difficult to believe that he is an Operations Manager as he does not have the capability of resolving issues with customers. I will NEVER buy anything from matrix warehouse. You are happy to take my money when I buy a product from you. But you are not happy to ensure that my issues are adequately addressed and that I am not impacted as a result of a faulty product that I bought from you.

Dear Wessel

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It is important to us that we consistently improve our service. We do apologize that we could not meet your expectations regarding a loan unit. No one in the industry actually keeps loan units of IT equipment to give out when there is a warranty claim. We will engage with the relevant staff to ensure that they receive more training to ensure we achieve gold standard customer service.

Kind Regards
The Matrix Team

Once again. It seems like the problem is not only with the management of your company. But all the way to the top. If the industry does not cater for a certain issue you might have. It does not mean that you do not have to cater for it. Your reply does not help me at all. You response is very generic and not at all customer orientated. Providing me with a unit for the 21 days would not have cost you anything. You are in the business of selling hardware. Surely you have units in the branch. That is why I will never buy from you again. It seems as if you are in the business of one time sales. You make a sale once and do not worry about return business. If you did. I would not be sitting where I am sitting now. Repeat business, with proper customer service, should be at the hart of your business. But you do not understand that concept at all.
