MATRIX WAREHOUSE Not honouring warranty claims

I Bought equipment at above store of which a Headphone set was included. The date was the 18/05/2014 the headphones states that I get a 12 month international warranty. I took the headphones back on the 21/01/2015 as they were not working well and was told that I should get an answer back within 21 days. After not hearing from them I phoned was told that the unit was out of warranty on the 12/2014????. The gentlemen at the store is adamant that the head office says it is out of warranty but I only had it for 8 months?????.... I will be taking this to the consumer board. DONT BUY FROM MATRIX WAREHOUSE!!!!!
