Matrix makes to much money
Dear Matrix.

Please give me answers how you guys operate. Please take into account that I do know alot about computers and they parts and what they retail for. So 2 weeks ago I got a quote from Evetech for a custom build pc the price was R13000.00 we are not talking about low performance parts. I sent my quote to you guys to see if you can beat the price. I got a ridiculous price of R17000.00 with not even the same parts as in my custom build quote. So I went to your matrix store with my Evetech quote and got a quote for R14000.00 but the sales person removed a few parts off the quote. Quick question Evetech sell a i7 4790k cpu for R5000.00 you guys charge me R7000.00 does that make sens to you? You don't even try to beat the price you just show the customer the door and say there you can go to the opposition we don't care about your money or business. Every single custom part. Gpu/Cpu/ram/motherboard/Psu/ssd etc you don't even come close to the opposition prices and when i ask you to please do, you dont even care. Do the math making R200.00 on a product is better then making nothing. All I can say is I wont recommend you to anyone and rather send them to Evetech etc. Disappointed
As you know this competitor you are referring to is an on-line trader and don't have the expenses of paying retail rent etc. This in turn has a direct impact on pricing. When you have a problem with warranty you will have to incur expenses to ship the product back to them, whereas this is built into our model.
I understand your frustration, but there is a huge difference between retail stores and faceless on line stores.
