Laptop charger faulty.

Hi guys. I purchased a laptop charger for my Dell Inspiron laptop. Iat the end if november.I plugged it in and it showed ^plugged in but not charging^ the next day i xalled them at matrix highlands north and they used every excuse why it was doing it. It was the charger that was faulty. I called them and they didn't want to know my problem. I thought they sold quality parts. Obviously not.

Good day Clive You purchased Laptop charger and returned with it the next day. Fault: not indicating on the laptop  that it was charging. We tested the laptop with another charger and the fault still remained. Both chargers were tested and found working with correct output voltage. This indicated that there was a problem with the Laptops battery or even worse the charging pin. (we don’t fix charging pins) This was explained to you and we offered you a replacement battery from R999.00   You left with no mention of refund or exchange or of acceptance of the quote.  We would have gladly exchanged the charger for the battery or refunded you as it was within 7 days and a valid issue.

Regards

I did not send my laptop. I called the next day and mentioned I lost my slip. The guy said they can't help me. I had to purchase another charger and it works fine from someone else. The man I spoke to at highlands north matrix didn't want to help me at all.
