I don't have time to wait.

I bought a Pantum printer from the Kolonnade Retail branch in September 2015 and with installation the printer wouldn't work. Then I opted to go for a bigger model which was installed by a technician from that store. Everything worked fine up until 2 months ago. I mainly use that unit to print. The photocopying function and WiFi stopped working first. I could still scan a document and print it. I also noticed that the control panel stopped working. Yesterday the printing function stopped working too. I run a business 24/7 and I have to print daily reports. Today I had to pay someone to come relieve me so that I could take the Pantum printer/ scanner/ copier with WiFi back to the store where I purchased the unit. I was told that the unit had to be sent back to some place for repairs and can take between 7 to 21 days to be returned. I simply cannot wait that long for a printer which isn't even 12 months old yet to be repaired or replaced. I NEED TO PRINT DAILY REPORTS. I know the consultant who assisted me operate under instruction and it's not his bad attitude. I simply cannot wait 3 weeks for a printer to be returned. Quite honestly I don't want the Pantum product anymore.

Hello chilipip,

When a unit like this go faulty it must be assessed by the manufacturers repair center to determine what the fault is and if it is covered by the warranty terms and conditions. If there is physical damage ie: Water, lightning, power surge or the like then they will void the warranty. If not physical damage is apparent then they will either repair the unit under warranty or swop it out. We will endeavor to have it sorted out for you as soon as possible and would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Regards
The Matrix Team
