fondi 3g tablet

My friend baught a fondi tablet on 30.05.2016 by matrix warehouse computers. On 09.06.2016. The tablet started giving problems. **** sites open by itself. Wifi was turning on and of. And finally his sim card wasnt registering. We took it back to matrix in musgrave centre durban. On arrival a consultant started playing around with the tablet. He then reset it. After all that he was told that it was a software problem and is not covered by the warranty. He ask them what he can do about the situation. He was told to get it fixed himself. He took it to a repair shop 3 shops down. They told him his the 2nd person that came in with the same problem. He had to pay R200 to fix the tablet. He went back to matrix to ask them to at least pay the R200, they refused. So people of durban do not buy stuff by matrix warehouse and computers in musgrave centre. It will last 10 days than its your problem

Good day Gavin

You came in with a tablet not accepting sim cards and the mobile data app was crashing. You also said that the unit was continuously opening sites and applications without your consent. Our technician worked on the unit and deemed it was a software issue. The technician asked you if he could do a factory reset of the unit. You agreed to do the reset and this didn’t help with the mobile data crashing. You decided to take the unit to Afritech down the hall before we could assist you further. Later you came back into the store claiming that we must pay R200 for the repair of the tablet. We informed you that software is not covered by warranty and before we could offer to send the unit in for warranty you left the store.

We want to apologize for any inconvenience caused and are more than willing to send the unit in to the supplier to be tested.

Regards

The Matrix Team
