Defective products sold
I have bought five Microsoft 1850 mice over the last few months from your Springs mall branch and all have been defective. The pointer goes all over the place instead of where you aim it and it is unreliable. The 7 day grace period was up and could not return it. This is not the first time that I had received such bad quality from your stores. In the past years defective hard drives, flimsy name branded headphones, faulty cables, faulty power supply was also bought from your stores. Could not return them for the money because it went faulty after it was purchased.

We are looking into the matter and will provide feedback as soon as possible. The Microsoft brand is usually a very reliable brand and shouldn't give the issues you are experiencing.

23 Apr 2019, 10:37Hi Robert
We have checked with the branch in Springs, and they do not have any Microsoft mouse booked in by them for a warranty claim. Please feel free to take the mouse that went faulty to them at any time it suits you and we will resolve it under the warranty process.

18 Jun 2019, 19:25Hi
Apologies for the late response. Thanks for the response and I would just like to mention that on my original review I did not say anything about the computer mice been booked in at Matrix.
For the previous returned items such as the faulty power supply and the flimsy head phones the outcome was not satisfactory. I waited a while for them to sort it out and it came back not repaired or exchanged. It was discovered that it was a simple fix of the replacement of the actual 3.5mm connection to get it working again for which your suppliers were to stingy to do. For the power supply they had no more stock in store and gave a voucher forcing us to buy other things we did not need.
Now regarding the five mice that were defective, I have subsequently disposed of them all to avoid the hassle of returns and the wait to be told that there is nothing we can do(head phones) or vouchers I can do nothing with.
I have subsequently bought the same brand and model of mouse from takealot, used it on the same place as the ones bought from your store and have had no problems with them. It could be possible that Matrix received a batch with defective sensors/components or could have been possibly damaged during shipping from the Factory(china) to South Africa.
Thanks
Robert
