APPALING SERVICE

On or about August 2016 I took my computer into the store (service counter) as it was blue screening. After about 5 days I went in to check was the problem was and I was told that everything was working so I paid them R200 as they had formatted the drive. Went home and the computer still did not work. After long hours and a process of elimination it was discovered that the solid state drive was not functioning. I took this to the store and it was checked in their device and was found not to be working. They informed me that they would send back to supplier for checking (even though I had bought this from them and not their supplier) This process they said would take 2 to 3 weeks. After a month and not hearing from them I went into the store only to find that the drive was lying in their cupboard having been checked by the supplier, who in turn found nothing wrong with it. It was again checked in their device and I was told that there was nothing wrong with it. Again I paid R200 for the reformatting. This drive was then inserted back into my computer and the computer never worked and continued to blue screen. In desperation I purchased another drive and it is working 100%. This drive cost R1200.00. So after spending approx. R30000 on 2 computers from Matrix less than a year ago, I have had to pay an additional R1600 because of their incompetence and lack of interest. I will never put another foot into that particular Matrix.

Hi Wendy-Anne

The Hard drive was sent to the suppliers and tested working 100%. Therefore it wasn't swapped out with a new unit. Please return the Hard drive to the store at your earliest convenience se we can send it in for a warranty claim to get you a new one.

Regards

The Matrix Team

Best regards,
