Dear Victor,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you’ve faced during your studies and the exam registration process. We understand how frustrating and disheartening this situation must be, and we want to sincerely apologise for the distress it has caused.

At Matric College, our mission is to support students throughout their learning journey, including assisting with exam registration by guiding them through the relevant processes, helping to set up their profiles with the Department of Education when relevant, and ensuring they are aware of key dates and procedures. However, we would like to clarify—respectfully—that the final decisions around exam venues, dates, and approvals are managed entirely by the Department of Basic Education and the exam venues themselves and are unfortunately outside of our control.

While we always strive to support students to the best of our ability, there are certain administrative aspects that we are not authorised to change or influence—exam venue allocation being one of them.

Regarding your textbooks, we regret that you were dissatisfied with the study materials provided. We would like to assure you that all materials we issue are intended for educational purposes, and we adhere to the publishing guidelines and agreements with the relevant content providers.

We truly regret that your learning experience has not met your expectations, and we appreciate your feedback. Please feel free to contact our student support team at *** so we can review your case in more detail and see how we can assist you.

I have mailed your company several times stating my case in several different ways repeatedly and all you do is to provide excuses never actually answering me or even trying to assist me, I did not pay the department of education I paid matric college and therefore my business lies with you. what you advertise is support for students, but when we need it, we get told it's not your problem. with regard to my study material being basic photocopies of textbooks from reputable publishing houses, that is not my issue, my issue is you telling me that you cannot refund my money after me making an endless effort to get the support I need because you have provided the study material. this means i never had to pay you and I could then for educational purposes go to any library and copy any book then proceed to sell these copies for educational purposes. i wonder what the people at Tafelberg, Vivlia publishers, Via Africa Publishers and Globalgrey would say about your company sending people photocopies of their publications for tens of thousands then telling them that you are not there to help them write exams just there to provide these copies for our money for educational purposes only, not to profit you at all? interesting business modal.

Can you please explain what I did pay for then as these books are educational purposes not profit at all as per the statement you made on the reply above, I don't have any classes, never once have I had any tutors, I had to sort out my registration for my exams myself on the department of education's web portal that has nothing to do with matric college, I do not have a teacher and i only have several e mails telling me the same thing repeatedly?
