All South Africans should be treated equal! We all deserve a chance.

Was given documents by Sanlam and my Late Dad's insurance broker in order to get a Letter of Executorship. Waited in queue from 8am to 12:15pm. Finally reached the counter. I say "Good day Ma'am, how are you", she responds, "What do you want"... I thought to myself ok maybe she is really frustrated possibly hearing the same thing questions all day. I proceeded to hand her the documents I had and before I could say anything to explain why I was there, she said "You need to go back to Sanlam" I asked her why and if something was wrong? And explained to her that these were all the documents Sanlam gave me along with my Dad's broker and the letter from Sanlam clearly states that they are happy to proceed with the amendments I want to make. They just need the High Court to provide the letter of executorship. The lady was so rude and shouted at me, telling me not to complicate things and then refused to answer any questions I was asking her. Was I so wrong to ask questions? I mean I was in queue for over 4 hours and now being sent away because the lady is having a bad day. All I wanted to ask was what documents do I need exactly so that neither of us waste our time the next time (should there be one).

All in all, I'm very disappointed with the service from the clerks at the Master of the High Court. What really got to me was that when you sit around there for as long as I did, you tend to notice a pattern. The treatment Black South Africans vs Indians, Coloureds and Whites was so drastic. That same lady which I had to deal with, treated other Black South Africans with such a warm heart and such patience. Why is it that the Indians, Coloureds and Whites were treated so badly, shouted at and little to no patience shown. I feel so betrayed and disgusted. Anybody who knows me, knows that ****** is something I am completely and utterly against. I didn't deserve to be treated the way that I did.
