They contacted me like they said above (i knew they were just going to justify their actions and nothing will materialize from there response just entertaining me with there reasons )
They will never take responsibility for their actions so please read their very fine print if you do decide to use them which i would never do again and do not get caught like me stick with the well known banks like ABSA AND WESTBANK with them i never ever encounter this issue in my 25 years of HP and their interest rates are better with out even trying to negotiate

Marquis Finance understands the frustration that can arise when unexpected fees apply to a settlement. However, the early termination fee for large agreements is clearly outlined in Clause 8.2 of the finance contract. This clause states that if a customer wishes to settle their agreement early, a three-month notice period is required on large agreements, like your own to avoid the fee.

We regret that this policy was not anticipated, but as a registered financial service provider, we are required to apply the terms and conditions agreed upon at the start of the contract. These terms ensure compliance with industry regulations and are in place to provide structure to settlement processes.

While we understand the comparison to other financial institutions, each provider operates under its own policies and frameworks. We value your feedback and will continue to refine how we communicate key terms to ensure clarity for all our customers. If further assistance is needed, our team remains available to help.

MAYBE HIGHLIGHT THE WORDING LIKE YOU HAVE IT ABOVE AND USE IT AS THE VERY FIRST PARAGRAGH OF THE AGREEMENT AND NOT DUCK IT AWAY WHERE IT WILL NOT BE VISIBLE TO CATCH CONSUMERS LIKE MYSELF
TO LOOSE R20 000 ON SETTLEMENT IS NO JOKE OR MAYBE A JOKE TO YOU GUYS
ONE WAY OF CATCHING CONSUMERS
PATHETICK TACTICS TRYING TO JUSTIFY YOUR WAY OF GAINING MORE INTEREST THAN WHAT YOU SHOULD BE GETTING
INTEGRITY IS EVERYTHING WHICH YOU DO NOT HAVE
ENOUGH SAID

Thank you for your feedback. I understand your frustration regarding the large agreement and penalty fee on your settlement. I would like to assure you that the penalty fee and terms outlined in the agreement are in place to ensure fairness and clarity for all parties involved.  I understand that the penalty can seem excessive, but our goal is always to operate with integrity and transparency, and we take any concerns seriously

PENILIZED FOR EARLY SETTLEMENT IS A JOKE AND A RIPP OFF
IF YOU I GOT GOT A PENALTY FOR LATE PAYMENT ALL WOULD BE FAIR
NOWHERE IN MY CONTRACT WAS IT UNDERLINED LIKE YOU HAVE MENTIONED IN THE TERMS AND CONDITION I RECIEVED OR WAS IT HIGHLIGHTED FOR TO TAKE NOTE OF THAT CLAUSE WHAT PERSON IN THEIR RITE MIND WOULD JUST THROW AWAY R20 000
A PERSON WOULD LIKE TO BELIVE THAT THEY ARE A GOOD CUSTOMER BY NEVER MISSING A PAYMENT AND STILL SETTLING EARLY
YOUR INTEREST RATES ARE A JOKE AS WELL AS YOUR CANCELLATION TERMS
I WOULD ADVISE NO ONE TO USE YOUR FINANCE COMPANY
AND LIKE A PREVIOUSE CUSTOMER STATED (THE ONLY WAY TO GET A RESPONE FRROM YOU IS THROUGH HELLOPETER )

Dear Glen,
All that has been stated under your review has already been disclosed to you prior to you making the review on email. We do apologise for the frustration this has caused you, however, as advised earlier it is stipulated on your contract that a penalty fee will be imposed on large agreements upon settling the agreement. Should wish to not pay the fee kindly give us 3 months' notice and once that time has elapsed you will be provided with a penalty free settlement quote.

I am not asking for your response as i know there would be no good outcome of it
i am making other consumers aware of your policy and conditions and the service you offer so you can stop trying to defend your action enough said we leave it like that as for myself i know in future you will not be my choice of finance company i would definitely go with the most reputable finance company eg :ABSA etc......
