Irregular activity - lack of website updates reflecting out of stock items and no refund after cancellation of order

I placed an order on the Manicaa site on the 07th July 2020, for an amount of R1750.00 and received the following order number 23817. I made an EFT payment and received confirmation from their sales team immediately, I queried turn around time and was advised almost immediately of a long delay due to shipping requirements. The product was listed as in stock on their website.

4 days later I get an email to say that the items were out of stock and was offered an alternative product. I was also advised that should I not respond in the next 5 days that the order would be cancelled and that my funds would be placed in my Manicaa account. I don't have a manicaa account and was unaware of any online wallet system and I didn't make payment via PayPal!!! Also important to mention is that the 'out of stock item' was still listed as in stock when I checked again.

I emailed back and asked for my order to be cancelled and money back effective immediately. To date I have not received a response to my follow up's for a refund.

This is highly distressing and very irregular business activity. I want my money back immediately.
