Disrespectful staff and a company that does not value customer relations

I bought a suit from Mango 2 days ago for R4598 and the coat had a funny smell m, I tried washing it but the smell persisted i then informed the shop via phone call and I was asked to return it. Upon returning it we concluded that I should submit credit card details for my refund. Few minutes later the other lady said no I won’t get a refund. The suit is with them and I refuse to take it because I will not use it. The staff made a fool of me making me repeat my story to different people how do I deal with such because I want my money back
