To all recruiters out there and people looking for work.

Be careful when you let them do the checks….. credit check….. will show up as a “lender” has reviewed you and will affect your score. I was assured it would not do that.

Your score WILL be affected and if you planning to buy anything on credit or open a new account, this MIE check WILL have an impact.

Thankfully I have a good score…….. but I am now being “coached” by EXPERIAN on how I can manage my affairs better…….. too many “credit checks” on my profile. And I personally only did one.

Best you hope that the recruiters don’t want to do a check for every time they want to submit your CV somewhere.

Your email sent has reference. An enquiry will usually only affect a score by a point or 2. Two enquiries in a short space of time will also have a greater affect and multiple enquiries within a short space of time can even trigger a ***** warning. There may have been other factors that might have caused the bigger effect - late payments on accounts, multiple enquiries, change in contact details, another account etc. This might only also just be for that month and will increase and stabilize the following month. MIE has no control over the deductions made by the respective credit bureaus and allocation of scoring……..

THEY NOW WANT.TO TURN IT AROUND THAT “MAYBE I’M THE PROBLEM”. THE APP I AM USONG TELLS ME EXACTLY WHATS THE PROBLEM……. Too many credit checks.
