Who gave you the right to do an enquiry on my profile???

Could you please advise. I have just gone through my credit report and I see that your company made an enquiry on my profile, Could you please advise which company gave you the go ahead to do so. I don't remember signing your forms, giving you the rights to make the enquiry. Advise before I could log a dispute, you need to remove this from my credit profile. Or give me the name of the company you represent. Thanks
