Poor service

I sat down at the restuarant on the 17 December 2019 hoping to order something to drink and eat. My kids and wife were still enjoying some of the activities that Monte presented. I must have sat for about 10minutes with a group of tourist from Switzerland who asked if they could sit at my table to escape the heat. A waiteress then approached the table telling us that we need to move if we not going to order. The tourist stood up and greeted her friendly apologizing and left. The waiterress then continued pushing my chair in assuming that I was part of the group which I can understand. When I told her that it was my chair and I intend to order she threw down the menu and told me in a very sarcastic tone that I can sit where I want and order what I want. She then left and a waiter approached me and took our drinks order. Which consisted out of mostly milkshakes as I have three kids and I chose to have one as well. My wife was not around so I said I would like to wait for her to see what she would like to order. The waiter brought the shakes and that was the last time I saw any of the restaurant staff. I would loved to have ordered some of the deserts that had on offer as they really looked great but all the waitering staff were so glued to the TV watching soccer that it seemed customers were the last thing on their mind. I stood up to go pay and the waiter that assisted us was not even on the floor. The managers or who I assume the managers and owner to be did not seem to mind all their waitering staff accumulating around the TV as they sat enjoying their drinks inside the restaurant.

Absolutely poor service I would not recommend the Malt Restaurant to anybody.
