Lying about Deposit.

<p>We were renting a place from Malan Eiendomme and gave then 2 months notice. As my brother in law was already staying with us he decided that he wanted to keep on staying in the place after we moved out so he took over the rent and paid the deposit. As the time came closer for us to move we asked them to please come and do the inspection so we can get our deposit back to avoid struggling getting our deposit to late as we need it for our new place . They did the inspection and said everything was fine they will be giving us our deposit back in the following week. We called them this week and the lady who did the inspection said that our deposit is going to be paid back to us in this week, we called again on wednesday morning and she said they already paid in the deposit but it wil only show in 2 Days. My husband called again this morning because still no sign of our deposit where that same lady said she will email us the proof of payment, (which never happened) so I decided to call where i spoke to the payment manager and she said they have not yet paid our deposit back and that she does not know why the other lady **** to us but she can only help me as soon as the lady who does the authorisation is back at 15:00. 15:05 I tried calling the office as well as the manager and the lady who does the authorisation but guess what No answer... so after numerous calls I decided to drive their office and shocker they were already closed after the payment manager said to me they will be working until 16:30. I was there at 16:18 and they were closed. After I spoke to the payment manager earlier in the day I also called the manager and explaind to him the story as we really need back our deposit today otherwise we are not going to have a home, because we need to pay our deposit before Monday Morning. So I tried everything now and there is no answer from no one i dont have my deposit and i've been rather calm about the situasion up till now, but i'm past fed up now. My husband also recorded all the conversations he had with the lady who done the inspection and here telling he they paid in our deposit ect.<!--Clip_***X_***--></p>
