I Used them again this month for my move. This time the movers were on time

Recently used this moving service for my move. Communication was great initially from Maison in terms of quotation and booking the date for the move. The pricing was quite competitive too.

The nightmare came on moving day. My move was scheduled at 8am. Maison calls at half 8 telling me the movers are “running late” and they would be there at half 9. Half 9 comes and goes and I had to keep calling. My calls were no longer going through anymore. Called again with a private number and Mike picks up. He advises that the movers are “stuck in traffic” and would be there soon. Had to keep calling for the movers to only arrive 3 hours later at 11am. I was extremely upset as this all affected my move and how things were scheduled for the day.

In terms of how my stuff was actually handled by the movers (Mike and Owen). They were absolutely great. My things were not damaged and were all wrapped and carried with care. That’s why I added two stars to the rating as I’m quite pedantic about my furniture.

Would I use this company again? Yes, solely because of the care in which they handled my things. Otherwise the delay was a nightmare and highly unprofessional.
