XUV 500 W8 clutch problems

The short version , is that the clutch failed on my 2013 Mahindra W8 XUV 500 at 46644 km. I bought the vehicle new.<br> I have been told this is due to driver negligence and or heavy traffic . <br> I do not tow with the vehicle barring twice to Nelspruit with a small 5ft trailer, and have not used the 4x4 function.<br> A recall was made in India for the same problem on both Scorpio and XUV 500 but Raceview Motors claim no knowledge of the problem. ( Its on the public forum on internet) <br> I have tried to get this resolved as the cost includes replacing the new technology flywheel and this is a repair of R36000 rand.<br> I am not able to get Raceview Motors to comment on the recall after repeated EMails, and or after putting a plausible argument before them of Defective clutch assembly. <br> In response to a request for a name and fax number for a or more senior contact person in pretoria, I was given only a phone number , and told to phone myself.<br> There is little response in writing which I can only presume is to avoid any liability.<br> There is no attempt to re- consider the exorbitant cost of a replacement clutch, or discuss / negotiate another reason for the failure
