Total misrepresentation by Mahindra on KUV 100 K8 1.2 D

<p>5 July 2016 I happily traded my SUV 500 for KUV 100, a smaller car with fuel consumption claimed 4.4l/100 km (22km/l) as per Brochure, TV ads, sales reps at Mahindra, internet etc. Best what I could get is 7.76km/l in town and 12.35km/l on the open road. A part was replaced but it made no difference in the fuel consumption. I have repeatedly brought this to the attention of Mahindra SA through the dealer in Tzaneen and via email to all parties involved. After a struggle, Mahindra SA eventually sent Gerhard to Tzaneen on 19 September. He apparently achieved 18+km/litre on the open road, but has not given any confirmation of sorts via email to the Tzaneen branch or myself. However he did not test the vehicle in town and we are still only managing to get 7.76km/litre in town. <span style="color: #555555; background-color: #ffffff;">The SUV 500 2.2 Diesel had a beter fuel consumption by far and I</span> am worst off after buying this vehicle. At present Mahindra SA has not contacted me with a solution at all. </p>
