Tensioners Delivery date 6 Weeks

The service of Mahindra SA has been appalling, this is now the second time it has taken them ages to sort out what should have been at most a 2 day job. This was taken to Mahindra Alberton<br> I took my Vehicle, Scorpio 2.2 Mhawk 4x4 in as the engine was making a weird noise on startup, the diagnoses was pretty much straight forward, the Service Agent said it was the tensioners for the timing chain that needed replacing, that job on the 4x4 Model requires the engine to be taken out as the diff box gets in the way. <br> <br> Not a problem, deliver car on the 4th of February and then the excuses started, wrong part, no parts in the whole of SA for my engine. Its now the 4th week of them having the vehicle with no option of a courtesy vehicle because one of their staff members wrote it off, I have now been told its still going to take another 2 weeks to get here.<br> <br> I am sorry, but as i have some idea on how cars work, A tensioner for the timing chain to me sounds like a very important part, how on earth do you guys not carry stock, pathetic if you ask me and now i am still stuck without a vehicle and i need my bakkie to see customers and actually do my job.<br> <br> So Mahindra SA, now what!!!
