Supplying an option and then after months, it is not available

<p>When we purchased the Mahindra KUV100 in July, we were given options for extra's which we chose a towbar. This is a 4x2 vehicle and worked into the finance at over R6000 cost. We were told the factory cannot fit the towbar but they searching for whom can and approval. A few months down the line of following up I called the head office and was told that it cannot be as the vehicle is not supposed to be towing. </p> <p> </p> <p>I'm not happy, this is a 4x2 that cannot tow and boot space is small. Because we thought we could tow a trailer when we go away so it is not a problem, it didn't bother us but now that the warranty will change if added and we told it cannot be fitted, it causes a problem. This is a decision that can change you mind of not purchasing the vehicle, which in this case I wouldn't have. This is unacceptable cause even in the manual it doesn't state that it shouldn't be towing, only that it can affect fuel consumption. NOT a happy customer!!</p>
