Shocking back-up service

I would like to express my shocking experience I’ve had with Mahindra Umhlanga - East Coast Motor Group.

Where to even start.. I took the company Mahindra balero in for the 30 000km service last week Tuesday. I was told everything was in order and to collect the vehicle.... At the last hour, I was told that an oil leak was picked up in the WASH BAY, and that the vehicle needed to stay for two days to be repaired. I was also advised the warranty would cover the issue.

I was then told the following day that oil had gotten into the flywheel, gearbox and clutch. And that the clutch would NOT be replaced because it had wear and tear on it... If I’m not mistaken, if the clutch fault was due to the oil leak, why must the company pay for the new clutch? It’s way too easy to say “wear and tear”. I was also given information by the shop Workman that the clutches rarely if not get replaced at 30 000km... Secondly if the clutch was so bad, why was it not picked up when the full service was done on the vehicle? Thirdly, do Mahindra not have quality control whereby the vehicles are checked for oil leaks and the like when being serviced? Mahindra charges more than our companies Ford Rangers to be serviced! This same balero also had a major service done by this same dealership 5 months ago @ a cost of over R4000.. why was the clutch issue not picked up then either?

The following Monday arrived (5 working days later)! And we now told the sump is leaking oil and that also needs to be repaired, and that would take another day.....I ask you with tears in my eyes.. how does this only get picked up 6 working days later after the vehicle has been stripped and checked??? Besides Mahindra’s shocking back up service when it comes to warranties, you’ve now cost the business 6 working days with the vehicle being off site due to pure incompetence. My partner dealt with Hilda from Mahindra SA, who was very unhelpful as well.... We request a full explanation for the poor service received, and what you are going to do to compensate the company for the losses with the vehicle being off the road for 6 working days???
