**** SERVICE FROM MAHINDRA/SERIOUS DESIGN ISSUE

My bread new 2023 Mahindra Karoo suddenly displayed all the warning lights on the dashboard simultaneously. Took the vehicle to Umhlanga where it was purchased on 12 May 2024.

I was told there was signs of water ingress into the computer controller box which sits under the driver seat, and they would have to charge for repairs. I challenged this, and Mahindra then stripped all the carpets and seats out of the vehicle (I was not informed) and checked for water damage. They could find nothing wrong and no signs of water ingress.

Now 1 month later Mahindra informs me that they ordered a part from India and will keep me updated on when the part will arrive. I am without a vehicle for this period and Mahindra/Umhlanga dealership refused to loan me a vehicle.

Seems like Mahindra has a serious problem and these vehicles are a risk, perhaps a recall is necessary to correct the poor design
