Potential Mahindra buyer, be ware!!!

Potential Mahindra buyers should be warned!

Mahindra uses their vehicles as "loss leaders". They patent parts, and when your vehicle breaks, you pay through your ears. (Got this info from an independent motor mechanic.)

They verbally quoted me R32,000-00 for a new set of mag wheels at PWS Motors, Bethal. That is 4x more expensive than leading, premium mag wheels???

When you contacts Mahindra SA, they refer you to the dealer. "Protocol", you see...

The lady at the dealer - PWS Motors Bethal - somehow thinks she is my boss. She recons she can issue instructions to me and tell me what to do. Meantime, I asked a simple question - will warrantee fix the car, which they refused / failed to answer. (Well madam, if you order me around, you must be my boss? When can I expect my salary this month?)

Potential Mahindra buyer be aware! You are opening yourself up to a world of pain, poor treatment and expenses.

All of the above is a pity, because I actually like my car. However, the sum of all the above just spoilt the entire experience / relationship.
