Paarlberg Mahindra poor service

I bought a black Mahindra pik Up 2.2 Mhawk Karoo Dusk S114x4 A/T PIUDC, from Mahindra Paarlberg on 2023-08-04. shortly thereafter the vehicle started giving me problems, including but not limited to Turbo Boost sensor Oilleaks, Rattles, etc. The vehicle was taken back to the dealership on numerous occasions to resolve the problems, only to return with the same problems. Although being done at great inconvenience to myself and my business, myself having to return and fetch the vehicle, the problems were addressed with a decent sense of urgency, although never resolved the first-time round. My inconvenience suffered were buffered by the excellent service of the sales agent, Theo smouse, always trying to accommodate me with a loan vehicle, being a sedan or LDV. During that time my vehicle's right rear fender and bumper + arch trim, was accident damaged whilst under their care, and I also found that my spare tire and rim, never used, somehow got swopped with a silver-colored Mahindra rim with a plugged secondhand tire. Again, Theo went the extra mile in resolving the accident damage by having the vehicle sent to be buffed and polished, and the damage were repaired to a satisfactory level. The rim and tire swopped were pointed out to Ludwig Kleinhans, the workshop manager who undertook to check the cameras for the incident. No feedback was ever received, and as the exchange could not be proven to have happened under their care, although Ludwig Kleinhans stated vehemently that all vehicles are securely parked and cared for whilst under their care, I did not pursue it any further, although it is extremely strange that a ***** would take the vehicle's spare wheel, and then go through all the trouble to exchange it with, coincidently, an older model rim of the same vehicle and model. Even more strange that he/she would even bother to replace it. Whilst the vehicle was back and forth between myself and the franchise, I also found in March 2024 that the back of the vehicle was sagging and clanking sounds came from the chassis. They inspected the vehicle and reported that the leaf springs have collapsed and needed replacement. I cannot confirm the exact km reading as they to date failed to supply me with copies of all work performed, claims etc., but remember it to be around 38000km, under correction. At that stage the vehicle also had a repeat oil leak, and the radio system was found to be faulty - switching on at maximum volume on its own accord when you turn the ignition, only to switch off when the vehicle is started. According to them, Ludwig Kleinhans, the leaf springs, radio and the oil dipstick (as the cause of the repeated leak) have been replaced. This was done in April 2o24, again exact date to be confirmed.During the start of June 2024 less than 2 months later, the chassis started making the same clanking noises, even worse than before, the back of the bakkie sagged even more than before, the radio was back to the original problem, plus now the radio reset itself to switzerland and some functions would not set. I noticed an oil leak on the gearbox/transfer. I contacted Ludwig telephonically and stopped at the workshop, who undertook to come back with a booking to, again, re-check the vehicle. As I received no feedback in two weeks, time, I asked Theo to assist with a booking which he made the booking. Having to wait another 6 days, I stopped at Best Drive Malmesbury and requested them to just check all bolts and nuts on the chassis, shocks, etc., to ensure safety. They checked and informed me that there were play on the bottom bolts of the back shocks, as well as to the fact that the leaf springs were sagging' They also showed me that the back shocks were worn by pushing down on the back of the bakkie and showing me that the bakkie kept on bouncing when downward pressure were released and suggested that I contact Mahindra Paarl as the vehicle is under full warranty. tn the interim I had to replace all four tires on my vehicle on 2024-06-12 at Klapmuts Motors, after being rotated every 10 000km and all the tires ending up with flat spots which they indicated was shock/suspension problems, not even doing 40 000 km on the tires. I contacted Charl from Rock Shockerz Paarl, also the cape Town EFS suspension agent, and asked him on his opinion regarding the shocks and the leaf springs, being less than 2 months old and being the second set already. He immediately confirmed that the leaf springs were not EFS as per the specific vehicle specifications. He also checked the model numbers of the shocks against the specifications and informed me that the front shocks in the vehicle were correct, but the back shocks showed to be the shocks of a 50 series Land cruiser and supp**** me with the correct part number for my vehicle.I could not confirm whether Mahindra Paarl changed the shocks in April 2024 as-well, as they failed to supply me with copies as requested. All this information were shared with photo evidence to Theo, Ludwig and Ronnie, the GM' I requested a meeting with them, which they never accepted, and they just proceeded to replace the leaf springs. when I confronted Ludwig with the evidence of the leaf springs, he admitted that they fitted the wrong leaf springs in April 2o24 but blamed it on the factory supplying the leaf springs of the entry model Pik Up. He claimed ignorance on the wrong shocks been fitted on my vehicle and undertook to fix the radio and the oil leak on the gear box at the same time whilst again replacing the leaf springs and the back shocks. charl also in the interim informed me of a problem existing between Mahindra and EFS regarding non genuine EFS parts being brought into the country and fitted and people laying claims against them. I informed all of them of the informafion and allegation received and asked that all parts be confirmed before fitment. I were informed by Theo that Ludwig indicated that my vehicle was done on 2024-a7-05 and I could collect' I collected my vehicle from Ludwig personally and was informed that they fixed the radio, the gearbox oil leak, replaced the back shocks with the correct EFS part number shock, but that the leafsprings were replaced with GS leaf springs (alternative) although charl, EFS agent, confirmed availability at his premises Skm away in paarl. He assured me that the GS leaf springs were approved and conform to the same specs as the EFS specified for the specific model. I requested written confirmation and proof that the alternative leaf springs are of at least the same standard and supply me with the warranty. until now no confirmation nor proof has been received and I have been informed that no warranty extension is given, which is unacceptable. Till today the could not supply me with comparitive specs on the different leaf springs as requested. on 2024-a7-09, 4 days later, the cranking on the rear suspension was back again the radio that was fixed was back on its old gremlins and the gearbox is still leaking. I phoned Ludwig and reported this to him, whilst still awaiting the response to my emails regarding the warranty, specifications and feedback on the claim of non-availability. As nothing was forthcoming from him, I send him an email, copied Theo, Robbie and Sarel Eloff, requesting the information as requested to be made available and feedback and a plan of action provided by the close of business. He answered my email, as attached, not giving a definite plan of action, and proceeded to insinuate that the back shocks "might have been replaced by myself or charl from Rock shokerz, but he did not investigate further". This is the poorest form of customer relations I have ever experienced as is his claims that no EFS leaf springs were available,is nonsense. This after they had unlimited time to fix the vehicle with no time restriction placed on them from my side. To date no further correspondence or plan of action have been received. Should the records be checked, it will be found that this vehicle has probably spend more time in their workshop, than myself having it and being able to use it for the purpose intended when I bought it brand new. I have lost complete trust in the vehicle and the honesty and capabilities of Mahindra. Leef springs have now been replaced twice, both times failing to install the part as per the model specification and are again making a noise. The worst part of all is that the vehicle has not once carried a load even close to the specified load capabilities. Further discussions with Charl from Rock Shokerz confirmed the shock part to now correspond with the EFS part list, but the part is not yet confirmed to be genuine as no such shocks has been ordered from EFS in the last two months, and no proof or place of origin is forthcoming from Mahindra. I had to replace a full set of tires which I believe is a direct result of the wrong parts fitted. Further more oil leaks are not fixed properly, which in my opinion is poor workmanship or substandard parts, or both. Compliants to the dealer principle, Simonne Dahl, her father a director and his partner were just ignored. The case is currently with Miosa. I have experienced Paarlberg Mahindra as ***********, dishonest and unwilling to address compliants. No work are done correctly the first time round. They do not address problems, rather attack, badmouth and blame the client. They do not honour agreements and could till now not provide me with the qualifications of the technicians as requested. . ***
