MAHINDRA VEHICLE MAINTENANCE PLAN - SERVICE RECORDS LOST!

We have Maintenance Plans (up to 100 000km) on all our new vehicles - and they are all serviced every 10 000kms. Last week we had a tubo problem with one of our Mahindra bakkies. On taking it to Atlantis Motors, Centurion (who services all our Mahindra vehicles) on 82 000kms for a warranty claim, Atlantis Motors could find no record of the 40 000km service, therefore they are pretty sure that we cannot claim for the turbo under the warranty - and also no record of the 80 000km service! But (according to the service record) they have done the 10 000km service, the 20 000km service and also the 50 000km, 60 000km and 70 000km services. What I want to know is how could they have done the last 3 services under the maintenance plan if, according to their records, the 40 000km service has not been done? Should we not be able to fix this turbo problem under the warranty, I am facing a disciplinary hearing and the cost of the turbo! Can somebody please help?
