Mahindra Vanderbijlpark
I bought a Mahindra XUV 300 from Mahindra Vaal last year June. It's got +-11000 km's on the clock now. I took it in yesterday and a while later they phoned me and said it's the Alternator bearing that's at fault. Firstly as it is still under guarantee they have to get approval to fix it and then they're only allowed to order the spare part. It went in yesterday about 8 o'clock and the branch only got the approval today at about 12 o'clock. I asked for a courtesy car which they say they don't have. I'm unhappy about this because now I have to be without a car until maybe Friday. And if it's not finished on Friday then I have no vehicle the weekend. I don't have a husband who's car I can borrow.

08 Dec 2023, 07:32I'm very dissapointed with MAHINDRA. I'm so happy with my car and now this. My ALTERNATOR BEARING gave in and my car only has about +- 11000 km's on the clock and I've had it now for 18 months. I had to take it in on Tuesday and now it's still there BECAUSE THERE'S A DELAY WITH PARTS. I NEED A CAR TO DRIVE WITH AND THEY CAN'T GIVE ME ONE. ALL THEIR CARS ARE GIVEN OUT. I NEED A CAR TODAY AS I DON'T WANT TO SPEND THE WEEKEND WITHOUT A CAR.
