Mahindra SA. After Sales Service - non-existent

Love my Mahindra #Dare K6 kKUV. Stunning car. However, the after sales service of Mahindra SA is appalling. 6 weeks after taking delivery of my car I noticed a bubble wrap imprint in the vinyl wrap on the black roof. I reported this to the DP. At first my complaint was met with disbelief as this was not there at the time of delivery and had not happened to any other cars. I took photos of the roof and also took to the car to a local company that wraps cars. The owner of the local company explained that the bubble wrap imprint was between a black 'printed' layer of vinyl and the clear protective sheet of vinyl. I contacted the owner of the company who wraps the cars on behalf of Mahindra and suggested that this was the problem. I was told by owner of this company, that the man I consulted had no idea what he was talking about and there was not way that he used a twin wrap on cars. What really annoyed me was being called a protracted "Lady"! I was instructed to take the car back to George so that the DP could do a report on the roof. A round trip of ****ms. This I did under duress. By now I had had about enough. The DP inspected the car and took it to a panel shop to check my complaint. When I returned to pick the car up I was told that the bubble wrap imprint was "in" the vinyl wrap. This is what the owner of the independent company had said was the case. Now I have two definite scratch marks on the vinyl where an attempt was made to remove the imprint.

At this stage I was promised that this issue would get sorted out in 2 weeks. The report from the DP would be sent to Mahindra SA and that the company who wrapped the car would come to change the roof vinyl and make right.

I waited 3 weeks and then contacted the DP to find out what was happening. Promises, Promises and more promises - no-one showed.

I then took to writing, daily, to Customer Care asking them what was happening. Today I received an email telling me that Mahindra SA would not entertain this claim as it was not there at the time of delivery. Now the DP is going to pay to get the vinyl wrap redone.

For brand that is trying to break into a competitive automotive market, their customer care is just non existent. So very very sad.

The saddest thing is that there were so many other similar cars in my price range that I was interested in, makes of cars that I had previously owned from new, but decided to go with the Mahindra brand. BAD MISTAKE, VERY BAD.
