Mahindra Pik Up Warranty

In November 2020 I bought a Mahindra Pik Up with the following warranty. This is the warranty explained to me by the dealer in Roodepoort. "Please note that the Mahindra you bought (2020 Mahindra Pik Up S6 Refresh S/C) as advised upon purchase, comes standard with a 4 year/120 000km warranty and a 5 year/ 90 000km service plan".

The vehicle is now 10 months old and has 40,000 km on the clock. We now experience clutch problems that will cost R 22,000 to fix. Mahindra now refers to the instruction booklet of the car stored in the glove box. In this book, all the exclusions from the warranty is set out. The clutch, engine and all major components only carry a 20,000 km warranty. So, beware, the 4 year/120,000 km warranty is of no value to you, the buyer.
