Mahindra not worth the buy

Not worth the buy due to the terrible service received afterwards.

2014 scorpio pikup I had brought in 2018, second-hand from a Mahindra dealership in umhlanga.

Service Problems:

Mahindra in Umhlanga whose owner was extremely rude to me post taking ownership of my vehicle. And required the vehicle to be returned to them multiple times to fix an engine light and ABS light problem. Never fully got fixed.

Mahindra in Pinetown whose service was below adequate in 'maintenance' as well as communication. One horrible example is when they put a rag between the exhaust and chassis to stop a rattle which just ended up burning the rag. Rather dangerous if you ask me and cost R450. They also failed to notice the wheel bearing going which could have saved me money, and signifies the lack of maintenance checks that they actually do.

Mahindra Ottery: Just stopped replying to me when I was booking to replace my wheel bearings and as I was very 'over mahindra ONLY tried to follow up with them once.

Mechanical problems included:

2019 my front right wheel bearing collapsed. The collapse had caused extensive damage to the wheel which exemplified the price as well as the fact that for both safety and precaution we changed the front left wheel bearing as well. Thus a total of R15000+ was paid.

Now just more than a year later that same wheel has "collapsed" and is out of alignment. The other wheel as well is showing signs of the wheel bearing soon to be collapsing. Which might not have even been faulty when it was changed. I followed up with the dealership in Pietermaritzburg to find out why something that should not break keeps breaking. They have informed me that there is nothing they can do as Mahindra products are only on warranty for 6 months. This is crazy for a wheel bearing.

To get parts don't expect Mahindra to have any. If you need parts for your Mahindra please contact MPD they are very helpful and sell good parts for a much better price. Then take it to your local mechanic or do it yourself to fix or change anything.
