Mahindra Lephalale De*****s Customer

I was maliciously de*****ed by the Mahindra Dealer, Ariano Motors Ellisras. I approached the Dealer to buy a new Bolero but a second hand Mahindra Bolero was sold to me end of Feb 2015. The vehicle was sold to me as a 2014 model with with mileage around 45,000kms. The dealership completed the quotation, all the finance documents, delivery notes etc. as a 2014 model. MFC provided the financing based on this. With the vehicle just out of warranty but with less than 60,000 kms. The drive-train system failed, leaving me with a repair bill of nearly R30,000 for replacement of gearbox, centre-pin bearing, clutch system etc.<br> <br> Then I discovered that the vehicle is actually a 2013 model, with a history of drive-train associated problems which were never disclosed. This vehicle was maintained by this dealer from 2013 so they were fully aware of the year model and defects. Thus I was naive and successfully de*****ed. The Dealer and Mahindra SA Customer Care now just shake there shoulders to the problem and say it is up to me to start legal action if I so wish.
