Mahindra *********** at getting parts delivery within 7 days.

Summary: Mahindra is *********** at delivering parts for their vehicles within 1 week and now i have to cancel my familys June holidays as a result. This **** has been going on for a year and ive just about had it with them. Here goes my rant:

My family (wife, 4 ***s & myself) have been looking forward to the June holidays to go on vacation in Pretoria for about a week or so, visiting other family members. I noticed a strange sound coming from the car and my mechanic advised that I needed a Fanbelt pulley, which is a small job and the part only cost about R650, no big deal right? WRONG!! I ordered the part from Mahindra Ford (Claremont) on Monday morning around 8h30am, having dealt with this company for the past year I already knew my fate. I get feedback from Mahindra on Tuesday late afternoon, informing me that the part hasn't left Jhb. Since I've had this car, the waiting time for parts from Mahindra has been 7 - 14 days, i swear. I live in Cape Town, If you get a part delivered quicker than 7 days, then its a miracle. The Courier Guy has an overnight delivery service for under R300 which i would've been happy to pay, even if that meant getting the part in 2-3 days. I use them often for my computer business. Ive had a smaller car (Suzuki swift)before this and normally I would get parts delivered from Jhb to CT within 3-4 days. I am selling this car and will never buy another Mahindra in my life. Not only do they have the most expensive parts in this vehicle catergory, but waiting 7-14 days for a car part is absurd. God forbid you need a different part, then you'd have to wait another week or 2.
