KUV100 Power Loss
Mahindra states it's 'normal engine behaviour' for my vehicle that continuously loses power when driving. This is not a reasonable answer as no car, especially a brand new car bought in February should be doing this. I went to my local branch on the 30th of June 2022 when these problems became so persistent that I could not reasonably be expected to continue driving the car in such a state. It's been 5 months now and I have been fed up for a while.
There is no startup procedure for the vehicle anywhere stating that I have to idle the car for any specified period or until a set temperature has been reached, this is also quite uncommon in 2022 that a car needs to be idled, in summer, for an undisclosed time until it reaches an undisclosed temperature before it will operate normally. It takes 5 to 15 minutes for an engine to be warmed up. So the times my husband has driven my vehicle to Ermelo and struggled for 50 km before it finally started to behave normally could not equate to the response received from Mahindra SA. Another example of this issue was me driving from my residence to another town 21km away, surely the engine can't still be cold in these circumstances.
I have discussed the issue with my colleague and Mother-in-law as both drive KUV 100's and neither of them have experienced these issues with their vehicles in their years of driving their cars. Additionally, neither of them are aware of any specific start up procedure which needs to be followed. If this was such a common thing and "normal" behaviour then surely they would have experienced a similar issue before.
As for the reviews on Hello Peter, it's clearly not just me that experience problems with my vehicle's engine when driving.
Mahindra SA have not bothered to contact me once after complaining.
I requested feedback before COB on Tuesday, 15th of November 2022 on if they will be settling my vehicle or not as I am not waiting any longer for them to 'figure out' what is wrong with my vehicle and for them to send any more technicians just to again say there's nothing wrong, but to no avail.
I believe that I have been patient and courteous towards Mahindra SA but I will no longer tolerate the blatant disregard for customer concerns.
