Fuel eater Mahindra

Purchased a 2017 Kuv 100 6+ because of the fact that it's suppose to be light on fuel, however this is exactly the opposite. I'm now using more fuel to drive 50km a day than I did with my Merc SLK350. I'm now wondering why the previous owner decided to sell it and if they had the same issue. To say the least I'm not very happy after driving it for only 4 months. I do understand that it's a second hand vehicle and that it comes with problems but really, R560-570 and 250km a week - it's a BIT TO MUCH!!
