Don't buy a Mahindra - after sales service is terrible.

I really like my Mahindra's, I own two. After today's experience at Mahindra Nelspruit I think I will rather buy an old stuffed up Land Rover Defender. At least then I know and expect poor service, unreliability and expensive parts. On the 30th of June my Scorpio SUV S114x4 was collected and taken to the closest dealership for warranty repairs. Basically, after my steering started shaking violently an underbody vehicle specialist noted that my front left wheel bearing was shot and my control arm bushes were *****. They cautioned me to not drive and have the vehicle repaired under warranty at the dealership. I was eventually told to collect the vehicle today.. Guess what the wheel still shudders violently........they tightened the control arms, that's all. They did not check my wheel alignment nore the shocks. When I went back complaining, they confirmed that they never checked. They will order shocks, which might arrive by Friday, I will then need to have them installed. I will need to do a 200km round trip and stuff up my vehicles tyre from all the shuddering. A 75% repair on a safety critical system means 0%. I will never buy a Mahindra again. Do not make the same mistake as I did. They never seem to have stock, every time I needed repairs I have to wait 3 or more days. My tire pressure transmitters have not been repaired for two visits now. I reported high oil usage at the 30 000km service, it has eventually been found and repaired at 65000km's.
