Bad service, bad prices
I just want to mention that since purchasing my Mahindra XUV500 in 2013, I have had so many problems.
I am sure that the complaints department would know who I am since I have sent numerous complaints about the service through the Mahindra service centres, to the issues that I have had with my car.
I have 109 000kms on the clock, and I have changed just about everything on this vehicle from ITM's to shocks etc. I cannot believe that in 7,5 years, I have had to replace so many items on this car (more than once) that other vehicles don't replace for 10 years and more.
Now I am told that I need to replace my clutch along with the flywheel. Mahindra only has a dual mass flywheel and the cost to replace this is R37 000-00. I cannot convert it to a solid flywheel as there are no such kits in South Africa.
Why is it that Mahindra has the most expensive parts of all vehicles that I have owned over my lifetime? I cannot understand why these parts are not readily available at better prices.
I cannot even sell this car now because I have to fix it before I can sell it.
I wanted to obtain a quotation from the service centre (and I did contact them by phone and email as well as headoffice), I have to date not received a quote and I have to take the vehicle elsewhere, but this means that many of the parts etc that need fixing, can only be done via the agents!
I am sorry that I ever bought a Mahindra - and this is the 2nd one that I have purchased. I thought that things had improved - my bad.
