Unprofessional behaviour and incompetence

Mafadi Property Management does not deserve the star the system automatically generates before a review can be written. The management of Mafadi Property Management doesn’t take complaints raised by landlords seriously, the current Manager of the Johannesburg branch ignored all the emails I sent raising my concerns over the placement of an unsuitable tenant in my apartment. She fails to display basic communication skills by at least acknowledging the emails.I requested the company to assist me in finding a suitable tenant for my apartment in Marshalltown , Johannesburg and to my dismay they approved a tenant who did not have the financial capacity to pay the required rent, they allowed the tenant to take occupancy of my apartment without paying a deposit that is equivalent to a months rent, the tenant failed to pay full rent for May and I requested that they advise the tenant to leave my apartment and they have failed to ensure the tenant moves to a place suitable to their income level and they are now ignoring my phone calls because I want to go fetch the keys to my apartment but don’t know who has them.

I was never sent the application to see if the tenant earned enough to afford the rent nor was I given the lease agreement until I complained about it.As it stands I don’t even know if the tenant has vacated my apartment or is still enjoying free accommodation, water and electricity. Mafadi Property Management is in breach of the contract I have with them and the manager of the Jhb branch and Jhb portfolio manager are ignoring my calls. I don’t even want the fraction of the deposit paid over to them , as I have terminated my contract with them.
