My friend doors in his units are removed

I have a report about mafadi. My friend has been living in their property since 2019 he and his family have been. Paying bills for the past 4 years of their stay but recently my friend was having problem so he told the management what problems he was facing with all proof sent to the caretaker

He told them he was going g to settle all outstanding debt when he was sorted with his bank issues, but they refused to listen to my friend and they moved out all the doors in his house and he is having kids so as I speak they are living in a house without doors and exposed for every one passing by to see inside their house

What I want to know is,is the action against my friend legal,because he has been owing them in past that he always settle without any problems and even now as we speak he can pay them he just have to sort his account that has been suspended by the bank because according to the bank he need to clarify transactions made in his account so please advise if the action against him was legal and of not what step do you advise my friend take
