Mafadi Property Management's appalling service
I have been locked out of the security gates and have been informed that it is because of levies. I live in Birchwood village, in Chartwell.
I have sent countless emails to Mafadi and called as well without anyone ever responding to me, HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT OF OUR COMPLEX??? First of all, I am appalled by this poor service. We are the clients that your company is servicing and it is unacceptable that we are to be treated like this.
1. When I moved into the complex I provided my contact details to the body corporate. 2. When I noticed that months had passed and I had not received an invoice for the levies, I went to the agent who sold the property to me and asked him about this. He then sent an email querying the levies. This is after I queried the matter. 3. It is not my responsibility to guess how much the levies are and in which account I would need to pay these. 4. So I find it extremely offensive that 5 months after moving in, I receive a huge bill for the levies that I requested in the first place. 5. I then paid half of these levies off, upon receipt of the invoice, since that is what I could do at that time. 6. I do not appreciate being threatened because Mafadi chose to send me invoices late when they had piled up. 7. Ever since I received the invoice I have been paying, I might not have settled the full amount but I have paid more than the monthly levy amount which means that I am trying to settle the rest of the bill. I have not run and ignored its existence. So being threatened with legal action and being locked out of my residence I find to be ridiculous. 8. I have a fine of R500 for a child riding a bike, I don't even have a child, I have sent an email to Mafadi without any responses and the fine still appears on my statement.
