Mafadi lacks the ability to be a Rental Agent

I am a tenant at of Mafadi Property Rentals occupying a unit in their complex called Westwood and Huntington. I have been a tenant since March 2018. My vehicle was ****** on the 27th May 2018 due to the security guard on duty sleeping. The issues with this rental agent are endless.

Mafadi at one stage advertised a refused rate for new tenants, when it was queried existing tenants where not allowed the discount. I insisted and was granted the refused rate. It has been 1 year since the new agreed rate, there has been no signed contract. I have completed my part of the contract but it has never been released.

Other tenants complain about high water charges, one tenant is being evicted for water in areas to the value of R14 000. She requested a investigation and was supp**** an eviction notice.

Other tenants who expressed their salary dates differ from the payable date of rents have their electricity disconnected by the caretaker even though according to the Rental and Housing Tribunal this is an ******** practice and a court order is needed to evict a tenant for non payments of rent.

The most recent case is a tenant is being evicted as someone complained about his big dogs even though on signing of his lease he informed them of the pets as we are in a pet friendly complex. His eviction notice is due to large dogs and breeding. Apparently his male and female dogs wherebitment to mate and have puppies and selling them is a breach of the lease.

I have learnt that Mafadi will delay to repair, won't pay back a deposit and are just an agent that is ******** and unfair.

We as tenants don't even have a body corporate and are at the mercy of these tyrants
