Mafadi is ruining my life

I stayed in one of the Mafadi's properties in 2023 which was a student accommodation. I paid rent monthly and even sent them POP everymonth, however they are now saying I owe them R40500 in unpaid rent and this is messing with my life because every apartment application I send is denied because I have a bad credit history, as we speak I don't have a place to stay. I have been calling and emailing them for weeks now with all the proof that I paid them but so far they have not assisted me at all.
