Locked out of my apartment without being warned through a written notice, on the command of Rofhiwa Chefu and Ntokozo

"Re: Unfair treatment and violation of Human Rights: Ms Cindy Moyo: Unit 406, 264 Market Street, Artisan Lofts Building, Jeppestown

1. I am writing this letter to you on behalf of the above-mentioned tenant who is aggrieved by your actions on 2022.01.19 2. The above-mentioned tenant was unfairly treated by your company in that on 2022.01.19 she received a call from your offices informing her that you are going to change the locks of her unit because she is in arrears for December and just after 30 minutes people arrived at her unit and told her to vacate the place forcing her to leave only with her phone, apparently when she asked them as to where is she going to sleep they said to her “uzozibonela” this happened even though she was promising to pay the following day. This another worst form of woman abuse saying to a woman that she will see to finish when she does have anywhere to go. This is an indication that you do not care about your clients, but you are only after money. 3. She went to the offices to find out as to why is this happening without a proper procedure followed in terms of the contract, but she also did not receive any joy from a guy called Ntokozo. 4. What happened to Ms Moyo is a violation of her Human Rights which are enshrine in the constitution in that she was left embarrassed by your actions which impacted her dignity very negatively as a woman and as a citizen of this country as she was left without any toiletries and clothes to change the following day. This is the worst form gender-based violence to a lady which was committed by your company as she was left emotionally distressed and hurt.

5. You have through your actions violated clause 23 (23.1.1) and 27(27.1) of the residential lease agreement of your own company in that Ms Moyo was never served with any written notice which allows her 20 days period to remedy the situation as also stated in 27.1 that all notices and letters shall be in writing unless you can provide proof that such procedure was followed by you. 6. True to her words Ms Moyo has indeed paid the arrears on 2022.01.20 which is an indication that she is a person who honours her word. It was inhumane for to *******ly evict her from that place when she was making such a commitment. 7. The manner in which you have treated Ms Moyo has left her embarrassed, emotionally drained, seeing herself as someone without any dignity as she was thrown to the streets like a piece of *******. She was disrespected as a lady and as a human being. 8. You are therefore given seven (7) days to apologize in writing to Ms Moyo for the unfair treatment that you have meted to her in the process violating her human rights in particular the right to dignity in terms of section 10 of the constitution. Ms. Moyo reserves the right to take legal action against including to expose to any social media platform or anywhere where you will be exposed for treating like she is not a human being. 9. Hoping that you take this letter very seriously and you act accordingly."
