Invoice queries being ignored

It’s a shame that we must now come to hello peter in order to get assistance from Mafadi. I have lived in Tower house for the longest time before it was taken over by Mafadi and I must say since Mafadi took over things have not been well.

There has been an increase of tariffs which in this economy makes sense however I was never notified.

I reached out to Sibusiso to ask as to why certain aspects of my invoice have gone up and some new charges now are present in the invoice and he explained that there was an increase in tariffs when I asked about communication he advised that it was broadcasted.

The question then is where was it broadcasted as I had not received an sms,email or WhatsApp.

He then asked why I exited the communication channel of which I advised that I am still on the WhatsApp group and if he is referring to the sms channel how I would exit that if it's on the Mafadi system.

Another mind blowing fact is when I asked why the water is so high he said “ Please note that we charge water based on the number of people in the building, we take the bill and divide it by the number of occupants”,excuse me why am I paying for other units water usage ?

When paying rent if there are any increases or additional charges we should be made aware of it as I don't have an extra R500 just lying around.

This matter needs to be resolved asap, if someone can provide me with proof that I received the “communication” which I requested then I will try to pay the extra cost
