******* Power Cuts to tenants with as little as R1600 in arrears. No Court Order.

It has come to my attention that Mafadi cuts off power to units whose rent is in arrears or if a unit owes as little as R1600 by the 1st day of the month.

Does Mafadi know that it is ******* to disconnect power to unit without a court order confirming and that the fine Mafadi can be charged can be R120 000 should this matter go to the Renting and Housing Tribunal? It is ******* to disconnect power especially if the unit has a Pre-Paid meter, This is not the correct course of action from Mafadi.

Also the Building Manager was instructed by Siphiwe to disconnect the power, lock the DB box and that the Building Manager left for the weekend, so these tenants even if they paid the balance the building Manager was not available to allow a reconnection. This is appalling behavior from Mafadi. The Building Manager has also disconnected all exterior lights so the outside lights are off at the DB board. Does Mafadi know that the Electric Fence in the complex not work yet the Building Manager signed off the installation?

The Security company that is assigned to provide security to the complex is not up to standard. Security Guards sleep during the night and also do not patrol during the nighttime. Has the incidents that happened in the complex on the 27th March and the 28th March been reported to Mafadi? Do you require a report or will this matter be swept under the carpet?

As owners and tenants we are very unhappy with the Building Manager as well as the Security Company and request that their services be relooked at and possibly be terminated. This service is appalling.

I send emails to Amanda and Clive whom are the Body Corporate yet I am ignored, to date no emails have been responded to from Amanda regarding garden maintenance.

The same tenant has not had his power disconnected as of today the 09 April. Prior he was accused of vandalism by Siphiwe for apparently cutting off a chain that had locked him out the property.
