I have been a tenant for 6 months in their property and when my lease was expiring i contacted the office to advise them that I would like to extend my lease as i have not yet found a place what process will i need to follow , Tendani advised me that there is nothing, monthend i must just pay rent as normar since its 6months and escalation will only be in december. Same monthend i paid mybrent as normal on the 20th, then tge statement came with new rental amount, i sent an email to Tendani to find out how come she didn't tell me about my rent increase when i phoned, she then sent my email to Temba who has not been able to give me answers till today. Now i get threatening smses of which i was not even given a notice to advise of the rental increase.
