Where's my TV gone? They clearly don't know.

Dealing with this company has been shocking.

I requested a warranty repair from Hisense, and somehow Macpro appliances are the people handling the warranty repair even though Hisense never indicated this in any way. After waiting a week for my TV to be collected, we hear that Sibusiso will come collect our TV. Two casually dressed guys rock up in a old run down bakkie with no official logos or branding on them (or the car) to collect my TV. The only "proof" I have that these aren't a couple of skellems, is the job card they present. They then proceed to stack my TV (which I've meticulously cared for) in the back of their bakkie with a pile of other TVs with nothing more than a single piece of cardboard between them. Nothing secures these TVs or protects them from damage. Sibusiso tells me 1 - 2 weeks I'll have my TV back and hands me a small business card with my job number (not a collection note or anything formal that I can actually use). And off they go.

Feeling like I've been ******, I call the number on the card and the operator (who sounds like she has more important things to do) tells me I'll get my TV in 3 weeks and offers NO comfort about updates or the process involved. Just that I'll know it's fixed when it's done.

A week goes by and I decide to contact them to find out what's potting (2023/02/15). The WhatsApp channel is useless and the cellphone number goes to voice mail. So I call the landline. A chap answers and after giving him my job number he asks me where my TV is...?! After telling him that he should know that he then says that they haven't started work on my TV and that the process can take 4 weeks. After I complain about how the duration increases by a week every time i talk to someone, he back tracks and says he said 1-2 weeks... He then insists that I've recieved sms updates - which I have not - and that I must just wait.

Where I am right now, I'm convinced I will never see my TV again and I actually just need to report it ******.

In a nutshell, I wouldn't recommend using them.

Should they care enough to follow up (or maybe add another week for turnaround), my job number is ***.

Good Day,

Thank you for your review. We have advised that the turnaround time is 2 weeks, not 3,4 which you mentioned above, and all the feedback and the process will be received through auto TXT.

The registered number was for your wife which ends with *700 where you advised us you'll check with her, which shows the previous TXT you have never seen it.

The panel repair doesn't take a day or 2, as it requires much attention, and we never received any problem from all our customers that we advise about the turnaround time. which leads to all the reviews that we have with most 4,5 ratings.

As the customers need the correct time.

The TV is also done and repaired, please expect the delivery by latest Wednesday.

Thank you.

Thanks for the update.
In response, we still have not recieved a single SMS to my wife's phone nor has anyone made an effort to contact either ofnus.
To be clear, I have no issue with the duration of the repair but that I was told a different time by each representative I spoke to.

And most importantly, my issue lies with your collection method. Stacking TVs in the back of an umarked bakkie with nothing to secure or protect them is inexcusable - a fact you seem to have conveniently ignored in your response.

My TV just got delivered back - screen is scratched like crazy and they didn't even fix the problem. What a joke.
