Very dissatisfied

I went to buy a concealer at M.A.C in Sandton City on 30/08/18 and I was assisted by Kailin. She tried out a number of concealers on the palm of my hand and we both agreed it’s not my color. She then suggested I try on a color in between which they had no tester for.

She convinced me to buy me nonetheless telling me that I can return it if I’m not satisfied or if the color does not match my skin tone.

I went to MAC (Sandton City) today on 04/09/18 for a refund because the color doesn’t match my skin tone.

The lady that initially assisted me was beyond rude and flat out denied ever telling me that I can bring back the product. She told me they can’t refund me because the product has already been used.. not knowing how I could’ve figured it’s not my color if I didn’t try it on.

They offered to take back my product only to give me one of their testers which they have used on other customers.

I told them I’d like to speak to management because I’m utterly dissatisfied with their treatment and they said they aren’t around.

If they don’t take returns they should’ve said before I even bought the product and not waste my money because it’s reallt not my fault that they did not have a tester or that their consultant told me I can return the product as long i have a receipt.
